The Marshalls in Harlem, at 125th and Lenox, has the best selection of cookware I’ve ever seen in such a store, including an impressive cache of Marco Pierre White’s line of Beka pots and pans, as well as a ton of Calphalon, All-Clad, Le Creuset, etc. If you’re not afraid to go above 96th Street, it’s worth the trek!

Mom: this coffee maker is a lot like the one I originally saw in France that inspired me to want the Bodum Santos. We’ll have to try a cup from the machine in Chelsea when you visit New York in April!
