Rotten garlic at Garden of Eden
I shouldn’t even shop at Garden of Eden anymore. It’s always something. This is some garlic that I bought there yesterday. My least favorite thing about that store, though, is the weird cashiers who use napkins to pick up your purchases. The woman yesterday used a napkin to pick up something that was in a jar. Last week, while pointing at my basket on her register counter, one of them said to me, “Will you please take that basket and put it on the floor?” That was a first. Also, no matter how empty it is, some employee is always running around and stressing me the heck out. Yesterday it was the famous manager who ignored my complaints about being overcharged. There he was, knocking my basket into the wall so he could get to the deli. It’s Garden of Eden—slow down, man! The whole store just freaks me out a little, but I keep going back…
