Guys, just felt like I should comment on Wicket’s move to Apache. Mostly, I wanted to post this picture of Apache Chief Essa-queta.

I’m happy for the project to be under his protection, though I hope everyone realizes it’s up to us to show the world that Wicket is the best foundation for Web applications. Chief or no chief, it all comes down to freely available learning material and kick-ass apps that show the framework’s strengths.

I think in Java this is called “hype.” So go make hype, and stuff.
