Friday is a news ticker for the internet.
Friday is for readers who do not want to miss a word. It is solely concerned with the speedy consumption of letters assembled into words, sentences, and paragraphs. The myriad styles and media of a reader’s favorite web publishers are only—and exactly—one key press away from Friday’s stream of plainly formatted news.
The software works with internet news feeds, content that is demarcated into individual stories. Most regularly updated web sites publish feeds containing all or some of the same text as the site itself. Friday uses the NewsGator service to collect stories from the user’s dozens or hundreds of subscribed feeds. These stories are presented in chronological order regardless of their origin. Each one may be opened in a browser, tossed out, or left in the queue. Once a story has been read or tossed out it is never presented again for the same NewsGator user, so you can use Friday on several different computers without seeing the same news twice, or missing a story.
Friday is a program for every day of the week.
