New Astor Place Wine open
Astor Place Wine has officially moved a few blocks down Lafayette. The place is huge and still a bit disorganized, but in a few weeks I think it will be a nice counterpoint to the Wine Warehouse on Broadway, which n8 and I can only tolerate just long enough to grab a jug or two of table wine.

The Lumix would make a nice gift! For some reason Poppy is bitterly opposed to getting me a new camera; seems to think I should just learn how to use the one we have or something…
The Lumix will forever change the way you think about taking pictures indoors. None of the pictures on here would be possible without it. The longer you wait, though, the cheaper they’ll be. Soon, all cameras will have image stabilization.
