Mr. Lutz is right, “Chinese” is both a singular and plural noun. But still, something seems off. Oh, right, it’s the part where GM takes credit for turning China from a communist totalitarian state to a freeish-market totalitarian state. “The General,” indeed!

If only his fossilized cold war fantasies could sell cars.
