I’ve been meaning to write about my favorite barber shop for ages, but was waiting until I had a good picture of it. Took one easily yesterday, cuz with the FZ-5 everybody can shoot like a V.P.

Ok, you two New Yorkers, this is the barbershop of your dreams!

As you can see it’s at 641 Broadway (phone: 212 777-2899) which is on the block above Houston, West side. It is not normally barricaded by garbage, but we did just have the greatest recorded snowfall in history, folks.

MrLittlePants and I always see Elise who does great work (come on, you’re familiar with my perfect bouffant), but I’ve also had my hair cut by the blond Eastern European woman and she did a fine job, silently.

If you walk in and they aren’t busy, someone will whisk you right into a chair unless you stop them, or if you’re a babbling street person or something. In that case they will probably not whisk you into a chair.
